On January 9, 2026, CCTV, China’s state television network, broadcast a spectacular video showcasing a project for a gigantic space aircraft carrier. Luanniao was envisioned as measuring 242 meters in length, with a wingspan of 684 meters and a displacement of 100,000 tons, capable of carrying 88 Xuan Nu combat drones.
